On 23 November 2017, a coordinator in Location 4 (L4) recorded the thousandth KAIZEN proposal with the registration number 1000/2017. The number 1000 was exceeded almost 2 months earlier than it was in the previous fiscal year.
The proposal, registration number 1000/2017, was submitted by Zuzana Borošová. With her proposal she solved the problem of organization and data administration in the production documentation in L4. She was awarded a small token, which was presented along with our congratulations by Martin Včelica (Production JM for L4), Miroslav Michalík (Production GL for L4) and Stanislav Hekrla (Production Planning Group Leader).
We are pleased that ISS employees are interested in proposing possible improvements and do not consider waste in the workplace an unimportant issue. However, it is necessary to point out that those employees actively “involved” represent less than a half of all ISS employees.
