Vsetín Police Sport Club, Traditional Karate Section, handed out awards to their most successful athletes during a gala evening held on 8 December 2017 at Alcedo, a center for leisure activities. The great successes of the karate club members were highlighted in a specially-made artistic calendar, which was introduced to parents, sponsors and other interested parties during the gala event.
All age categories, from beginners to intermediates, train in the Traditional Karate Section in individual groups. The karate members participate in national as well as International competitions and it is important to point out that they have achieved outstanding results. During the last European Championship, held on 4 November 2017 in Romanian Cluj-Napoca, Czech competitors won 21 medals, of which 13 were claimed by Vsetín SKP members.
