On Monday, 11 April 2016, representatives from the town of Vsetín paid tribute to volunteer work and company philanthropy. As part of the program, Vsetín Hospital a.s. expressed gratitude for support in 2015 and recognized blood donors, who had donated blood that year. The gathering took place in the marble hall of the Vsetín castle.
Once a year, the town of Vsetín organizes an event. This meeting of representatives from non-profit organizations and members of the Town Council acknowledges volunteer work and company philanthropy. The marble hall was filled to capacity by Vsetín volunteers and donors, who engage or have engaged in various charity events helping those who need it. It is a pleasant surprise to see that there are so many of those among us that are not afraid to help and that they are rightfully recognized.
One part of the ceremony acknowledged corporate philanthropy. Among those firm receiving honors for their charitable work was INDET SAFETY SYSTEMS a.s., which was recognized for taking part in improving the Vsetín Hospisal a.s. In 2015, we continued to support the project from 2014 “Year for the Department of Long-term Care” and helped with further development and the supply of equipment for the medical institution for the chronically ill.
