The 56th annual KAIZEN Conference took place in the Japanese metropolis of Tokyo on the 5th and 6th of February, 2015. The event hosted almost four hundred employees of the Nippon Kayaku Group (NK Group) and featured 28 presentations in total.
INDET SAFETY SYSTEMS a.s. (ISS) selected a project that dealt with combining several workplaces into one production unit, which enabled us to achieve an increase in planned production while incurring minimal costs and without the need of increasing the number of operators. This proposal was presented at the Conference by ISS representatives, Mrs. R. Berghauerová (Production Dept.), Mr. M. Zahradníček (Research and Development Dept.), Mr. P. Daněk (Production Dept.) and interpreter, Ms. K. Kissová (Corporate Planning Dept.)
Despite the fact that the ISS project did not receive the highest recognition, we are proud of our Safety Systems colleagues from NK Himeji for the deserved victory for their Kaizen proposal.
The conference has been beneficial in more than one way and due to the great efforts of the organizers, the event could be enjoyed equally by all those from distant parts of the world, such as colleagues from Kayaku Safety Systems Malaysia Sdn. Bhd., Kayaku Safety Systems de México, S.A. de C.V. and Kayaku Safety Systems (Huzhou) Co.,Ltd.
ISS members not only had the opportunity to experience the origins of the KAYAKU spirit, but also to enjoy the general hospitality of the Japanese people and to discover Japanese culture first hand.
