On 11 September 2014, eleven pedagogues from the Region of Zlín took part in a field trip to Location 1 (Jasenice) as a part of the Carrier portfolio project submitted by the Technical College and Business Academy in Uherský Brod.
The goal of this project is the creation of a carrier portfolio web application − a tool to assist in carrier planning, which would be useful in classes and which would encourage students to think about their own futures and the quality of their personal and professional lives. This project is significant due to the fact that the team members are professionals or personell assistants and the worlds of education and employment are interconnected.14 schools and 35 firms from the region are part of the project.
Our Human Resources Department together with the colleagues from the department of SAF and PROD presented general information about our company, its history, the production program, the employee structure and a prognosis of how the students can apply themselves in the engineering field to the teachers and guidance counsellors. The guests were also able to see the machinery and equipment in our mechanical workshops and other adjacent workplaces that belong to ISS.
